Types of fields
The two main types of paintball fields are the outdoor woods and indoor sports grounds. For both indoor and outdoor, fields include wooden, speedball, a special props areas. The most common indoor paintball field is the speedball area and outdoor is the wooden area. Scrimmages on these fields should only be played on safe and permitted places.
Equipment for Paintball Fields
Special Props, a bunker, netting, are all paintball field equipment used to enhance the playing grounds. Most of this equipment is for players to use as protection from the opponents paintballs. Except for the paintball field netting which is used to prevent any paintballs to exit the field.
Paintball Field Safety
To avoid injury, paintball fields require players to at lease wear mask to protect the face. Most fields also recommend thick clothing to prevent sunburns, scratches, and bruises from the paintballs.
Paintball field referees
Practically, every paintball field has referees to uphold the rules of the game. Players can use common sense to prevent bad calls from the referee. For example, between each game whip off old paintball hits, squirting water and rubbing the hit would make it look old.
