Paintball Accessories

When you begin playing paintball there are many things you need to have before you can go and begin playing the game. Here are items that you are going to need to start; we will explain why each is important as we go. You will need these things

  • Paintball Gun
  • Paintballs
  • Head Gear
  • Safety Equipment
  • Squeegees
  • Gun Accessories

If you are a beginner to the world of paintball then you want to get a paintball marker as they are called that is appropriate for your skill level. Most players when they begin playing think they can handle the heavy-duty markers and they spend a lot of money and can’t hit the broad side of a barn. Then they give up on the game because they wanted the best equipment without knowing how to use it.

Ask the paintball maker specialist at your local store and if you are ordering online be sure to carefully read the description of the gun. Get something you can handle and don’t let your ego get the gun. Once you have the gun, here are some things you should know

  • Know your gun inside and out
  • Know exactly what your gun is capable of doing
  • Know how to perform proper maintenance

Once you have the equipment you need to protect your self. You are going to need head gear; head gear includes the helmet as well as a face shield and a throat protector. Reasons are obvious but some players think head gear can slow you down or you may be uncomfortable but the truth is you don’t know pain until a paintball hits you in the head or in the eye or worse the throat. Protect yourself you never know when a paintball could ricochet off of something and hit you. The helmets with the face shields are best.

You want to wear safety equipment, in addition to the head gear you will need gloves, and a paintball to the hand will sting. You want to wear long sleeves, elbow pads and kneepads. You may also want to get a pair of earplugs if you are playing in doors because the sounds of the guns are louder in an enclosed area.

You want to make sure that you have a squeegee, if you get paint splatter on your mask and you wipe it off with a cloth it will smear; the same will apply if you try to pour water on it. But if you purchase a hand held squeegee then you wipe away the paint without any mess, it will wipe off clean.

The manufactures of these paintball markers or guns always make sure that you have accessories to go along with your gun. In case you need to add some parts to your gun as you go then these accessories can help you.

  • O Ring Kits
  • Grip for trigger frames
  • Spring guides
  • Mako autococker micro regulators
  • Macroline kit
  • Straight holes drop forward

These are just some parts you can have on hand in case; you never know what could happen on the playing field.
